Responsibilities

Senior leadership advisory/ Executive advising

  • You'll advise senior leaders (including the CEO, DEI Council, and People and HR leaders) on framing for complex issues, and prepare them as spokespeople.
  • You'll provide intel on key staff issues and work with leaders to close the loops.

Staff engagement, Change management, and Organizational culture

  • You will identify, and design campaign initiatives yearly focused on driving a positive staff experience in the organization (e.g. EVP, culture code drive, etc)
  • Working with various teams, you'll identify and design strategic organizational/country-level major change initiatives.
  • You'll plan the rollout of major change efforts, and develop nuanced messaging about complex and sensitive People topics
  • You will sit on key People Division working groups, identify emerging communications needs, and support People teams to coordinate staff outreach and speak with a unified voice.

Channels

  • You will lead the development, planning, and rollout of an intranet platform to drive an enhanced employee engagement experience throughout the organization
  • You will apply real-time data from a real-time intranet platform to drive content production for staff engagement

Team Management

  • You will manage the Internal Comms sub-unit.
  • You will oversee team professional development and advise on resourcing needs.

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • A Bachelors Degree
  • Technical skills: Project/Program Management, Strategy, Messaging, Writing & Editing, Training, Stakeholder engagement, People & Team management, Risk management.
  • Knowledge: Background in International Development, Communications (or similar).
  • Excellent relationship and trust-building skills, with the ability to lead and influence across various levels of the org, especially with senior leaders.
  • Experience in project management around directing different teams and driving toward results across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional, nuanced, clear, crisp communication with an ability to inspire a broad base/diverse staff base.
  • A high sense of collaboration, emotional intelligence, and comfort in a dynamic environment.
  • Strategic/creative thinking with exceptional storytelling skills.
  • Change management experience.
