Purpose of the Role

The Presales Executive will support the sales process through technical and commercial presales activities while contributing to direct revenue generation. The role involves preparing proposals, responding to tenders, conducting market research, supporting product demonstrations, engaging clients, and assisting in closing deals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support and drive successful deal closures.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Manage the bid process, including responding to RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
  • Analyze and respond to complex tender documents, addressing both functional and technical requirements.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
  • Support the sales team in qualifying leads and maintaining up-to-date sales documentation and collateral.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Customize proposals and quotations to meet specific client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market analysis and networking.
  • Contribute to revenue generation by supporting deal closure and achieving set KPIs.
  • Prepare and submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.

Minimum Requirements & Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role; experience in software or IT sales is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes.
  • Knowledge of tender management and bid processes.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare complex technical specifications and proposals.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
